Document legalization for Thailand
Consular legalization until 28 Feb 2027
Thailand is joining the Hague Apostille Convention, but until it enters into force for Thailand, documents from Kazakhstan still need consular legalization: notarization, authentication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and legalization by the embassy of Thailand.
If your deadline is close to the change-over date, talk to us: we will tell you which procedure the receiving office will accept on the day you submit.
Thailand has acceded to the Apostille Convention, which is scheduled to enter into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Until then, consular legalization is required.
