Document legalization for Malaysia

Consular legalization

Malaysia is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostille is not accepted. Documents from Kazakhstan go through consular legalization: they are typically notarized, authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and then legalized by the embassy or consulate of Malaysia.

Consulates set their own rules on translations, fees and processing times. We prepare the translation into Malay where required and submit the documents on your behalf.

Need documents from Malaysia for use in Kazakhstan? Through ABC Translation's international network we arrange the apostille or legalization in Malaysia and translate the documents into Kazakh or Russian here.
