Document legalization for Japan
Apostille
Japan is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. Public documents issued in Kazakhstan therefore need an apostille from the competent Kazakh authority, and no embassy legalization.
Most receiving offices in Japan also want a translation into Japanese. Depending on the office, a notarized translation made in Kazakhstan is accepted, or a translation by a translator certified in Japan is required. We confirm which before you order, so you do not pay twice.
Need documents from Japan for use in Kazakhstan? Through ABC Translation's international network we arrange the apostille or legalization in Japan and translate the documents into Kazakh or Russian here.
