Document legalization for Azerbaijan

Apostille or Minsk Convention

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are both parties to the Hague Apostille Convention and to the 1993 Minsk Convention on legal assistance. Under the Minsk Convention, many official documents issued in one member state are accepted in the other without an apostille.

In practice, requirements differ between institutions: some accept Kazakh documents as they are, others still ask for an apostille or a notarized translation into Azerbaijani. We check the requirements of your specific receiving office before you start.

Need documents from Azerbaijan for use in Kazakhstan? Through ABC Translation's international network we arrange the apostille or legalization in Azerbaijan and translate the documents into Kazakh or Russian here.
